14 NIGHTS – 15 DAYS
Day 01: Arrival in Mumbai - Hyderabad
On this first day of your South India with Extension Tour to Goa you will receive a traditional South Indian hospitality from our staff representative at the Mumbai airport. From the airport you will be transferred to Hyderabad after a short refresh up. On your arrival in Hyderabad you will be accommodated in a hotel, which will be provided on ready to occupy basis. Relax for some time and enjoy a sumptuous lunch, which will appease your craving appetite. Later enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city.
Highlights of the tour include :
- Charminar, this is a famous landmark in the city and also a desired tourist spot for every tourist.
- Mecca Masjid, this is a famous Mosque in the city which everyone loves to explore.
- Salar Jung Museum, this museum has a rich collection of manuscripts, ancient weapons, costumes and curios.
You will also drive past the High Court building in the city. After your enchanting Hyderabad Tour you will be relocated back to hotel. Enjoy a sumptuous South Indian feast and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 02: Hyderabad
On this second day of your South India Tour you will enjoy a full day sightseeing excursion to the Golconda Fort. Post breakfast you will set off for the trip. Golconda was once famous for its diamond mines from which the world famous Kohinoor diamond of the British crown was mined. The place is famous for its 13th century old Golconda Fort. The fort is one of the most regal and strategic forts in India. Other highlights in Golconda include Fort and Usmansagar Lake, a beautiful man- made lakes of India. In the evening return back to hotel. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Hyderabad - Chennai
On this third day of your South India Tour Itinerary you will be timely transferred to the airport for your flight to Chennai. Chennai is a famous South Indian city, which is also known as the Gateway to South India. Ranging from beaches to various regal monuments, the city is a desired tourist destination in India. On your arrival in Chennai you will be accommodated in a desired hotel of your choice. Relax for some time in the hotel. Later enjoy a sightseeing tour of Chennai. Highlights of the tour include Fort Museum, Art and Bronze Gallery. Afterwards you will drive through the Flower and Fruit Markets, High Court and Marina Beach. In the late afternoon post lunch, visit San Thome Cathedral, Theosophical Society and Snake Park.
After your Chennai city trip you will be relocated back to hotel. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 04: Chennai
On this fourth day of your Extended South India and Goa Tour you will enjoy a full day excursion to Tirupati. Tirupati is a tiny yet important temple and pilgrimage town of South India. Nestled at the foot of the scenic Tirumale Hills, Tirupati is considered as one of the most picturesque pilgrimage centres in South India. The town is popularised by the magnificent Lord Venkateshwara Temple, which is picturesquely situated amidst sacred waterfalls and tanks.
In the evening you will be driven back to Chennai. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel and stay overnight at Chennai.
Day 05: Chennai - Mysore
On this fifth day of your India Itinerary you will bid farewell to Chennai for your onward destination in Mysore. On your arrival in Mysore you will be accommodated in a desired hotel of your own choice. Relax for some time in the hotel, In the afternoon post lunch you will set forth for half- day sightseeing tour of Mysore. Highlights of the tour include Mysore Palace. The Palace is an enchanting blend of the Hindu and Saracenic styles of architecture having splendid archways, dome and sculptures. Other highlights in the city include Art Gallery and the Nandi Bull, a mountain structure. Later drive upto the beautiful Chanumdi hill to see the famous Chamumdeswari temple. You will enjoy a panoramic view of Mysore city from the top of the hill. Return back to hotel and refresh awhile. Enjoy a sumptuous feast and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 06: Mysore
On this sixth day of your South India Tour you will enjoy a full day excursion to Sravanbelogola, Belur and Halebid.
07: Mysore - Bangalore
On this seventh day of your India Tour you will be driven to Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. On the way you will bypass Srirangapatnam. The place was once the strong hold of Tipu Sultan. It is the same place where Tipu fought a valiant battle against the British and died while fighting in the British army in 1799. Also visit the Summer Palace of Tipu and his tomb at the Darya Daulat Bagh. Sri Ranganathswamy is another famous attraction in the tour.
On your arrival in Bangalore you will be accommodated in a hotel of your own choice. Enjoy a sumptuous feast at the hotel and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 08: Bangalore
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast after which you will set forth for a half day sight seeing tour of Bangalore.
Attractions of the tour include :
- Lal Bagh Botanical Garden : A garden well known for housing a variety of old trees, roses, fountains, pools and assortment of herbs.
- Vudhan Soudha : The colonial buildings which houses the state legislature and secretariat
- Bangalore Maharaja’s Palace
After the trip return back to hotel for lunch. Post lunch you can enjoy a leisurely day. You can indulge in shopping or personal activities during the leisure session. Later enjoy a sumptuous dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Bangalore - Hampi
Post breakfast you will be driven to Hampi. Hampi is the earlier capital city of the famous Vijayanagar Empire and the place is known for its magnificent palaces, temples and sculptures. On your arrival you will be accommodated into the hotel at Hospet which is 12 kilometres from Hampi. Enjoy a leisurely day during which you can explore the architectural brilliance of the amazing monuments in the city.
Later enjoy a delicious dinner and retire for the rest of the day at the hotel.
Day 10: Hampi
On this tenth day of your tour post breakfast you will enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Hampi. In the particular trip you will enjoy exploring the well- known and important monuments of Hampi. Later return back to the hotel. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Hampi - Bijapur
Injoy a sumotuous breakfast after which you will be driven to Bijapur. On your arrival in Bijapur you will be accommodated in a hotel of your own choice. Bijapur was the capital pf the Adi Shah kings who constructed a number of magnificent monuments. The most famous among them is the Gol Gumbaz. The dome of the beautiful and amazing monument is the second largest in the world. Other attractions in Bijapur include the Ibrahim Rauza, Gagan Mahal and Bara Kaman.
After a sumptuous dinner at the hotel retire for the night at Bijapur.
Day 12: Bijapur - Goa Post breakfast you will proceed ahead for Goa by surface. On arrival in Goa you will be accommodated in a desired hotel of your own choice. You can have a leisurely day enjoying the cool and refreshing aura of Goa. Enjoy a sumptuous Goa feast and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 13: Goa
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast after which you will proceed ahead for a full- day sightseeing tour of Goa. In the trip you will enjoy visiting the slopes of Altinho Hill, which offers a breathtaking view of Pamjim and Mandovi River. You will also visit the Dona- Paula from where you can see the Mormugao Port, the largest natural harbour of India. Later discover the architectural richness of old Goa visiting the Basillica of Born Jesus which also contains the tomb and mortal remains of St Francis, St Cathedral one of the biggest Churches in the East and the Church of Our Lady, Rosary and St Monica.
Enjoy a leisurely evening in the hotel. Later enjoy a sumptuous dinner and retire for the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 14: Goa
On this fourteenth day of your Extended South India and Goa Tour you will enjoy a full day trip of the beaches in Goa. You will indulge in beach activities on golden and clean sands of Goa beaches. The Goa beaches are world famous for their exceptional scenic beauty and charms. You will love basking in the sun on the cool sands. Also enjoy various water sports making your trip a fun- filled one.
Return back to hotel and later enjoy a delicious feast. Later retire for the rest of the night of the day at the hotel.
Day 15: Goa- Mumbai- Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast after which you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. On your arrival in Mumbai you will enjoy a leisurely afternoon during which you can indulge in shopping after a sumptuous lunch. Later in the evening you will be timely transferred to the International airport for your onward destination.
