Day 1: Arrival Guwahati
Pick-up from Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and straight to Hotel or Resort. After lunch activities including elephant ride, pony ride, rope traversing, boating, angling, trekking , bird-watching, rock climbing, visit to a craft village. Halt in AC rooms in the Resort or equivalent hotels. (Lunch & Dinner)
Day 2: Gowahati-Shillong.
Drive to Shillong (100 kms/3hrs. drive approx.) at 6.00 am and breakfast on the way. Reach Shillong at about 9.30 am. Shillong sightseeing. Lunch at Shillong. Shillong sightseeing. Dinner at Shillong and night stay.Night stay at Hotel Broadway or Yalana or Shillong Club (dlx room) or equivalent hotels. ( Break Fast,Lunch & Dinner)
Day 3:Gowahati-Cherapunji-Gowahati
Drive to Cherapunjee at 5.30 am (60 kms/ 3 hrs. approx.). Reach Cheraponjee at 9.00 am. Breakfast & sightseeing at Cherapunjee. Drive back to Resort after lunch. Dinner at Hotel or Resort and night stay. ( Break Fast,Lunch & Dinner)
Day 4:Gowahati-Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary-Gowahati
Drive to Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary (if weather permits)at 6.00 am (29 kms/50 min. drive approx.) famous for having the world’s highest concentration of one-horned Rhino. Reach Pabitora at about 7.00 am. Elephant safari inside Sanctuary approximately for an hour. Breakfast at Pabitora. Visit to a tea garden & tea factory. Return to Brahmaputra Jungle Resort. After early lunch in the Resort, river cruise by boat on Brahmaputra river (possible spotting of river dolphin) with packed tea & biscuits, visit to Umananda temple (smallest river island), Guwahati sight-seeing and then back to the Hotel or Resort. ( Break Fast,Lunch & Dinner)
Day 5: Departure with Sightseeing
Break Fast ,Check out from the Resort at 7 AM. Visit Kamakhya Temple, Guwahati, shopping and drop at the Airport before lunch
