Ladakh is a high altitude mountainous region bounded by the Karakoram Range from the north and the Great Himalayas in the south. It is a land that abounds in awesome physical features set in an enormous and spectacular environment. Often described as ‘Moonland’ on account of the unique lunar landscape, Ladakh was an independent mountain kingdom for close to a millennium. Leh, the royal capital, was a major crossroads of Asia and a stopping point on the ancient migration routes of the trans-Himalayas, connecting Central Asia with the Indian sub-continent. Its landscape, sky, shooting stars, silence, wizened faces, rosy cheeks, dragons and Zen - everything makes Ladakh a quite place to visit. This ethereal cold desert that goes by names such as 'The Last Shangrila', Moonscape, Little Tibet and so many others - all of which ring true, is a land that seldom fails to baffle or surprise. Ladakh, the land of jagged peaks and barren landscape is alluring and awe-inspiring.
Leh:
Leh is one of the famous places of Ladakh region and the main commercial hub. Airport of Ladkh is also located in Leh. Main attraction of Leh town is Namgyal Palace, which is a nine story building. Leh was an important centre of trade with Central Asia from the ancient time. It was opened for tourism activities in 1974 for tourist coming from outside countries.
Zanskar Valley:
Zanskar is one of the famous tourist attractions of Ladakh region because of its picturesque valleys. It is located to the South of Leh town and surrounded by Zanskar and Himalayan ranges. The valley covers an areas of around 5,000 sq km and the average elevation is 13,154 feet. One has to cross through some of the highest passes of the world to reach this region, which remain closed during the winter months because of snowfall. It is very famous for its trekking routes.
Nubra Valley:
Nubra Valley means Valley of Flowers and is located to the North side of Leh town. The average height of the valley above sea level is about 10,000 feet. Main attractions of the region are Bactarian Camels (Camels with double hump), some of the beautiful ancient monasteries and Khardung La Pass, at an altitude of 18,350 feet.
Buddhist Monasteries in Ladakh :
Ladakh is world over famous for its Buddhist monasteries, which are also known by the name of Gompas. These monasteries house a number of Thankas, paintings and ancient Buddhist sculptures. Some of the famous Buddhist monasteries of Ladakh are Likir Monastery, Spituk Monastery, Shanti Stupa, Hemis Gompa, Namgyal Tsemao Gompa, Thiksey Monastery, Lamayuru Monastery, Shey Monastery and Phugal Gompa.
Tso Moriri Lake:
It is a beautiful water body bounded by mountains, which expands around 240 km. It is located at an altitude of 14,000 feet near to the Korzok village. It is located to the East direction of Leh town.
Pangong Lake:
This beautiful lake is 2.4 miles in width, which is located at an altitude of 4,267 meters above sea level. Turquoise colour of its water is the main attraction of the lake. 75 percent area of this lake is located in China and 25 percent in India.

In the morning drive down the Indus Valley on a tour of the Lamayuru (approx. 130 kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ features. After sightseeing and lunch here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 kms.) and check into a fixed camp / resort for overnight stay.
Day 4: Uleytoko-Leh.
After breakfast drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. On the way visit Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture - a UNESCO listed heritage site. Overnight in fixed camp / resort at Uleytokpo.
Day 7:Uleytokpo- Lamayuru-Kargil (135 kms.):
After breakfast leave for Kargil. On the way you can visit the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills. Later drive towards Kargil enroute viewing the 9-Mtrs. tall rock sculpture of the Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (7th –8th century AD). Overnight in hotel at Kargil.
Day-8: Kargil-Sonamarg-Srinagar (205kms):
Early departure for Srinagar driving through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach Sonamarg from where it’s a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. Overnight at Srinagar.
Day-9:Departure Srinagar :
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.

Itinerary:-
Day 1:Arrive Chandigarh-Manali:
On arrival pick up from Chandigarh and transfer to Manali ( 350 km/9 hrs).Overnight at hotel.
Day 2:Manali - Sarchu (222 km):
Early morning drive to Serchu, driving across Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) and passing through Keylong, Jispa and Dracha and then cross the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Serchu in the late afternoon. Overnight in fixed camp at Serchu.
Day 3: Sarchu - Leh (255 Km):
After early breakfast leave for Leh en-route crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4: In Leh: visit the town and surrounds:
The morning is at leisure for rest after the long journey. Afternoon visit Shanti Stupa. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Leh - Pangong Lake (150 kms.):
Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for overnight stay.
Day 6:Pangong-Hemis / Thiksey-Leh (165 kms.):
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7:Leh-Khardongla- Nubra Valley (125 kms.):

Itinerary:-
Day 1: Arrive Chandigarh-Manali ( 350 km)
Arrive Chandigarh. On arrival transfer to hotel at Manali. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Manali –Keylong ( 140 km): 3349 m,
After early breakfast drive to Keylong , over crossing the Picturesque Rohtang pass (3980 m) – the gateway to Lahaul & Spiti valley. The first half of the terrain is gradual assent through green patches until we reach at the Rohtang pass. From the pass we descend towards Koksar – an official tea stop, we at meet Chadra River (coming from Spiti) and continue to Keylong. Overall terrain is fine except some bumps over the Rohtang pass. Arrive and stay overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Keylong–Sarchu ( 110 km): 4253 m,
Morning drive to Sarchu , over crossing Baralacha pass (4892 m). We follow the Bhaga River via Darcha till Patseo and then assent to Baralacha pass and then descend towards Sarchu. You have to negotiate with the bumps at some places and have to soak in water while crossing Small River. Arrive Sarchu, is the territorial mark between Himachal and Ladakh. Check in and overnight at camp.
Day 4: Sarchu–Rumste ( 180 km): 5000 m,
Morning we leave been chanting composite of Sarchu-lingtiplains, the road climbs higher and suddenly mountains cape encounter so far. Continuesly drive over the Lapchungla pass to be followed by the drive through the most remarkable Sekyunehothang plains at the end of Tanglangla pass (5328 mtrs) considered as one of the highest motorable mountain pass in the world. We camp at Rumtse located at the foot of the mighty Tanglangla pass after driving over the pass. O/n at camp.
Day 5: Rumste- Leh ( 100 KM):
After breakfast drive to Leh through the fertile Indus valley.
First we visit the Monastery Padmasambhavas, Buddhismus from Tibet after ladakh. Afterwards Tikse, the Grobten Monastery still visits in Ladakh in Gelupka. Afternoon arrive Leh and check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Leh
Morning is free for rest. Afternoon visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame..Overnight in hotel.
Day 7: Leh–Nubra Valley ( 140 KM)
After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh.
Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Overnight at the camp /Hotel.
Day 8: Nubra Valley-Leh:
After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Later we drive to Leh over Khardung La. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Departure Leh:
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home

Itinerary:-
Day 1: Arrive at Leh:
Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day for complete rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 35 00 mtrs). Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Leh local sightseeing:
After leisurely breakfast, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Leh-Lamayuru-Uleytoko.
In the morning drive down the Indus valley on a tour of the Lamayuru (approx. 130 kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located ancient Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ features. After sightseeing and lunch here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 kms.) and check-in at a fixed camp / resort for overnight stay.
Day 4: Uleytoko-Leh.
After breakfast drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Overnight in hotel.
Day 5: Leh –Nubra Valley.
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.
Day 6: Nubra Valley -Leh

Day 7: Leh-Pangong Lake-Leh.
Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 8:Leh
Free day for rest after the long journey to Pangong Lake. In the afternoon visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace & the markets. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9:Leh-Tsomoriri / Korzok (15070 ft. / 220 kms.)
Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese. Dinner & overnight in fixed camp or Guest House.
Day 10:Tsomoriri-Tsokar-Taglangla-Leh (17582 ft.)-Leh-approx 200 kms):
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en-route. Overnight in hotel.
Day 11: Departure Leh
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight for onward journey.

Day 1: Arrive Chandigarh-Manali ( 350 km):

Day 2: Manali - Sarchu (222 Kms):
Early morning pickup from Manali Hotel and head for Sarchu, driving across Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) and passing through Keylong, Jispa and Dracha and then cross the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Sarchu in the late afternoon. Overnight in fixed camp at Sarchu.
Day 3: Sarchu - Leh (255 Kms):
After early breakfast leave for Leh en-route crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4: In Leh: visit the town and surrounds:
The morning is at leisure for rest after the long journey. After lunch visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace & the markets. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5:Leh - Pangong Lake (150 kms.):
Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for overnight stay.
Day 6:Pangong-Hemis / Thiksey-Leh (165 kms.):
After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7:Leh-Khardongla- Nubra Valley (125 kms.):
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.

After leisurely breakfast drive down the Indus Valley on the first leg of your journey to Kargil & Srinagar. On the way, visit Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point, Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) and then the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic complex famous for its wall frescoes and architecture - a UNESCO listed heritage site. Overnight in fixed camp / resort at Uleytokpo.
Day 10:Uleytokpo: Lamayuru-Kargil (135 kms.):
After breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute visiting the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills. On the way to Kargil you can view the 9-Mtrs. tall rock sculpture of the Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (7th –8th century AD). Overnight in hotel at Kargil.
Day 11:Kargil-Sonamarg-Srinagar (205kms):
Early departure for Srinagar driving through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach hill station of Sonamarg from where it’s smooth driving through the beautiful Kashmir countryside to reach Srinagar. Overnight in hotel at Srinagar.
Day 12:Departure Srinagar :
Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home

TRANSPORT:
The pricing is for groupings of 02, 04 & 06 pax sharing 01 CAR ( NAC Qualis / Xylo /Scorpio / Innova etc.). Pls. note we do not use smaller cars in Ladakh due to the topographical factor, which requires heavy vehicles.
The following points are to be noted for Child Rate::
** Children above 10+ years will be considered as adult.
** Children of 5+ to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per Child without Extra bed
** Children below 5 years Complimentary.
(Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked).
Important Informations:
