Day 01 Arrival Gowahati/Shillong
Arrival & transfer to Shillong, Evening free for leisure, Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 02 Shillong
After breakfast transfer to visit, Cherapunji,Watson Lake, Golf course etc. In evening free, Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 03 Shillong-Gowahati.
After breakfast transfer to Gowahati, visit Kamakhya Temple, Open Zoo, City Three Point. Overnight stay at Gowahati.
Day 04 Gowahati-NJP R.Station
After breakfast transfer to Visit sightseeing, In evening free, after that transfer to R.Station.
Day 05Arrival NJP R.Station/Gangtok
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, you will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (130 kms / 4 hrs), Gangtok (5500 Ft) the capital of Sikkim, Sikkim - the Land of the Pristine and un spoilt natural beauty with alpine landscapes and thick luxuriant forests, rivers in torrent and peaceful lakes.
Day 06 Gangtok
After breakfast proceed to TsomgoLake (12,210 Ft), A 40 km drive which takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathulla Pass which is the entry point to China termed as the “Silk Route” & remains frozen for most parts of the year. Legend has it that the Lamas use to forecast the future by studying the colors of the lakes waters. Enjoy the surroundings, majestic snowy peaks which feed the lake and the clean fresh air. Back to Gangtok by lunch time. Evening free at Gangtok for own activity.
Day 07 Gangtok-Darjeeling
Morning after breakfast visit Rumtek Monastery, 24 kms from Gangtok was built in 1960 by His Holiness the Late 16th Gyalwa Karmapa & this is a replica of the original Kagyurpa Monastery in Tibet, a must see for every visitor, the seat of the “Kagyu Order”. Behind the Monastery is the lavishly decorated Karmae Nalanda Institute of Buddhist Studies which attracts students from the world over. Here one can find the most unique religious scriptures & art objects of the world. After lunch transfer to Darjeeling (115 kms / 05 hrs), Darjeeling (7100 ft), the “Queen of the hill stations”, its name derived from “Dorje-Line” which means the place of “ Dorje”, the mystic thunderbolt. After a very scenic drive thru the mountains, tea gardens etc. Overnight at Hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 08 Darjeeling Early morning tour start at 4 am an early morning trip to Tiger Hill (7800 Ft) to catch the sunrise from behind the majestic Kanchenjunga range. On the way back visit the Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. Back to the hotel for breakfast. Afternoon go for a half-day sight seeing of Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09 Darjeeling – NJP R.Station /IXB Airport
After breakfast proceed to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (100 Km / 03 Hrs), for your onward connection. |
