Day 01 : Arrive Moscow
Arrive Moscow board your coach and drive to hotel. According to an old Russian proverb "there is nothing above Moscow except the Kremlin, and nothing above the Kremlin except Heaven". Certainly, the vast Kremlin and its spiritual heart, St.Basil's Cathedral… an architectural masterpiece remain the nation's landmark symbol. After lunch transfer to city tour of Moscow. Covering such famous highlights as St.Basil's multi coloured onion domed Cathedral, the Kremlin Walls, Red Square and Lenin's tomb. Completes your first introduction to Russia.
Day 02 : Moscow
Morning excursion to Kremlin and the famous Armoury Museum. See the fabulous treasures of the Czars including and impressive collection of imperial jewels, golden thrones, a collection of world famous Faberge eggs and ornate icons. Afternoon a tour of the Russian Metro.
Day 03 : Moscow-St. Petersburg
Day free. In the Evening transfer to the railway station for your overnight Red Arrow Train to Moscow. 1st class couchettes (2 in one cabin). Porterage is provided at the station.
Day 04 : Arrive St. Petersburg
Arrive St. Petersburg… one of the most beautiful cities in the world and recently restored to its original name after Peter the Great. Often called ‘Venice of the North', St. Petersburg will astound you with its exquisite canals and convents, palaces and parks. Transfer to hotel. Check in. Afternoon city sightseeing tour takes in Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Peter and Paul fortress, the Statue of Peter the Great. Evening witness a vibrant Russian Folklore Show at the Nikolaevsky Palace with forshettes.
Day 05 : At St. Petersburg
Morning excursion to Petrodvorets, on the shores of the Gulf of Finland, to visit the elaborate summer Palace of Peter the Great. Admire the ornate interiors and stroll around its fabulous gardens with fountains and golden statues. Afternoon visit the Hermitage Museum formerly the Winter Palace.
Day 06 : St. Petersburg-Helsinki
Morning board your coach and proceed through the forest of Carelia and Timber Centre of Kotka to the Finnish Capital Helsinki. Day 07 : Helsinki-Stockholm
After Breakfast transfer to city tour Finlandia Hall, the Senate and Market Squares, broad boulevards and domed Russian Church. Later, a scenic boat-ride to the Suomenlinna to see the sprawling castle. Late afternoon transfer to port for an overnight Cruise on Silja line to Stockholm. Fun, entertainment and dinner on board.
Day 08 : At Stockholm
Morning, arrival Swedish Capital Stockholm …“Beauty on Water”. After check in proceed for a city tour. See Fjällgatan Viewpoint, Royal Palace, Old Town, Kings Garden, City Hall and Vasa Museum.
Day 09 : Stockholm-Hamar
Morning breakfast. Transfer to the resort town of Hamar & check in.
Day 10 : Hamar-Geiranger
Spectacular scenic feast today as we drive to the town of Dombas, where you have time off for relaxing. Then drive on… a spectacular crossing at Linge on the Geiranger Fjord to your superbly located hotel on the Geiranger… the king of the fjords… a stay you will remember for a long time… great setting.
Day 11 : At Geiranger Free at leisure.
Day 12 : Geiranger-Leikanger Board a ferry for a spectacular sailing on the Geiranger Fjord. pass by the seven sisters water falls and some of the finest scenery in Norway. Then board your coach for a journey over the Josetedal Mountains with a view of the Boya glacier and then drive along the shores of Sognefjord to our hotel in Leikanger. Day 13 : Leikanger-Bergen
Lying in a beautiful and dramaticlandscape for a 2 hour cruise on Sognefjord which will be scenic memories for a lifetime. The Sognefjord, the narrow valleys, the snow-clad summits and the wild waterfalls take your breath away. We arrive at Flam where we board the train for a breathtaking journey. For 50 minutes the view through the carriage window is a constantly changing panorama of sky-high snow covered mountains, thundering waterfalls and green pastures at the bottom of the valley. And in this background comes out a ‘Fairy' and dances to music. Continue to Myrdal, where we change over to a local train and travel to Voss. Thereafter to Bergen… Norway's most naturally beautiful city with its bustling harbour, flea market for bargain shopping and the colored row houses.
Day 14 : Bergen-Geilo
Morning Sightseeing of the city by foot. This 900 years old city, Spend time at Bryggen, the old wharf (the waterfront with its colorful houses which you would have seen in any photograph of Bergen). Continue in the late afternoon to the resort town of Geilo. A short crossing on the Hardanger fjord. The scenery is a bit like the landscape inside the Arctic Circle. Waterfall enroute. Great scenery.
Day 15 : Geilo-OSLO-Copenhagen-DFDS Cruise
Board the coach for a drive to the Viking Capital Oslo. On arrival Oslo transfer to sightseeing tour with an English speaking guide for a Panoramic City tour including the Holmenkollen Skijump, Royal Palace, Karl Johan, Viking Museum and the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park, Akers Brygge and other major sights. Late afternoon transfer to the pier to board your cruise ship for a memorable overnight cruise to the Danish capital Copenhagen. Dinner is served on board.
Day 16 : Arrive Copenhagen
On arrival transfer for a City Sightseeing tour of Copenhagen, including Stock exchange, Amalienborg Palace where Denmark's ‘Cycling Monarchy' –informal, accessible and unstuffy, has its city home, the Little Mermaid, Ströget Shopping Street. Then check into hotel. Evening transfer to visit the Tivoli Gardens. Tivoli Gardens is a cross between a Old Fashion funfair, a series of Beer Gardens, sophisticated open air restaurants, concert houses, dance halls and Manicured Gardens. Evening is free to feel Copenhagen… walk down the Stroget … the pedestrian street. Window shop only.
Day 17 : Depart Copenhagen
Transfer to airport for flight to India.
